We shopped around the world (Australia/Hong Kong/ Singapore and USA) and we just couldn’t find what we wanted. We came into the Ginza Mokumeganeya shop and was blown away by the craftsmanship, uniqueness of
Sakura Diamond and incredibly detailed engraving. Shiho helped us realize our dream rings.

Our love of Japan and artisanal craft led us to look for rings that would fit our needs. Mokumeganeya was the obvious choice, as you were the only company that could create the unique rings we were looking for (V shape and all the rings coming from one block of mokumegane).
The sakura diamond and petal were the final touches that sealed the deal.

Saw online and saw how unique the manufacturing process was. I loved that the process uses skills and techniques that would otherwise be lost, with most jewelry being mass produced nowadays it’s amazing to see something so unique with so much care taken at every step.

We first discovered MOKUMEGANEYA on our first visit to Japan in 2018. We were a young couple who had just graduated university, but we fell in love with the rings and how they are crafted together. We took a catalogue home with the dream that one day when we get married we could come back for
the wedding bands.
