Mokumegane is Japanese traditional metalsmithing craft from 400 years ago!

 

“Mokumegane” is not like printed, but it is all handcrafted from thin metal materials, we use Platinum 900, K18 gold, and Silver 925.

 

From about 15-20 thin metal materials, our craftsmen make a “layered bar” first.

 

 

The Mokumegane is created by tapping and twisting the stick-shaped material!

 

 

As this is handmade by craftsmen, the finished pattern will be unique and cannot be reproduced.

 

You will have a Mokumegane ring that is one of a kind in the world!

 

 

 

Mokumegane was invented about 400 years ago in Akita, north part of Japan.

 

 

It was invented as a decoration of Katana. By a craftsmen whose name is “Shoamidenbei.” We named the Mokumegane pattern “Shoamidenbei.”

 

This is the Tsuba - the sword guard that is placed between the blade and the handle to protect the hands.

 

The Mokumegane ring will protect your future together like the guard on a Katana.
