The technique of [Mokume-gane] was introduced in the Edo period more than 400 years ago.
It is said that a craftsman who makes sword guards called Shoami Denbei in Akita Prefecture came up with this idea.
This kind of wood grain pattern is created by interweaving multiple pieces of metal with different colors.
The appearance of the pattern changes depending on the temperature, humidity, and craftsman of the day, so it will be the only pattern in the world where the same pattern will never be born again
