Customer's chosen design: Mokume Straight (Wedding Bands)
My husband and I have been married for 15 years; we have 3 children and care for our elderly parents. We have been on a winding road and have learned so much along the way. We fell in love just before graduating university. T’s mother did not approve because E is white and Jewish and T is Vietnamese and Catholic.
We persevered and set out to create our own path. We moved far from both our families to earn advanced degrees and to start our own family. It has been a wonderous adventure traveling across the USA and learning about each other. We trust in our communication, foster a sense of unending curiousity and commit to understanding one another. We now raise our children with the same values and commitments that have kept our marriage enduring.
With difficult elderly parents, we are dutiful and model to our children how to keep close and be respectful without losing our identity.This ring symbolizes our marriage (white and gold), swirled together, strong, beautiful and unique. We have saved for a long while to afford this trip to Japan and one ring. We cannot wait to visit and experience the wonder of Japan with our family!
