We met 6 years ago at University when the ginkgo leaves were turning golden yellow.
On our dates we would take long walks through the University arboretum, admiring the ducks, flowers, and the stray cat that lives on campus. Two years ago, we visited Japan for the very first time mid-April. We didn't expect to see the cherry blossoms, but that year the cold weather happened to delay the blooming season and when we got to Japan we were greeted with the beautiful pink trees near our hotel in Asakusa. From then on, the cherry blossoms were special to us.
When we discovered the design and meaning of Mokumeganeya rings on Instagram, we fell in love with the symbolism and craftsmanship. We are planning to get married after 8 years together and we are looking forward to using these rings as our wedding sets to represent the rest of our lives together.
