My partner and I started dating in 2019 when we were both 3rd year undergraduate students.

Since then, we have gone　through many life changes as individuals and as a couple.

We chose Mokumeganeya's rings because the blend of metals to　create something beautiful yet unique, like wood grains in nature, represent many aspects of our lives and our story.

 

On the outside, we are both different people: he is more quiet, reserved, and methodical whereas I am energetic, talkative, and　spontaneous.

However, we share compassion towards others, curiosity for everything from philosophy to computers, and a　love for food, travel, and the simple joys in life. 

 

While both our families immigrated from Asia, we both were born in the United States and grew up in a blended Asian American culture with peers from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life.

Our first　major trip together was also to Japan, where we built very fond memories that we still look back on today.

We have always found the aesthetics of Japanese and other Asian art forms to be exceptionally beautiful and meaningful, making Mokumeganeya rings the perfect symbol of effort, harmony, and love.
