This exhibition is hosted by Tokyo metropolitan Government, and Mokumeganeya taking part by the collaboration product with contemporary artist Noritaka Tatehana who is the director for this exhibition.
His art has received acclaim from across the globe, and his iconic heel-less shoes, most famously worn by Lady Gaga, are on permanent collection at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, and London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.
Mokumeganeya made parts of this shoes by using Mokume Gane technique for this exhibition !

現代美術家 舘鼻則孝氏とコラボレーションし、同氏がデザインしたシューズのファスナー金具を木目金にて制作、展示しています。
同氏のシューズはメトロポリタン美術館やロンドンのヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館など、世界の著名な美術館に永久収蔵されています。また、レディーガガが着用したことでも有名です。
鐔制作にも用いられた透かし彫り技法により自身のこだわりの稲妻モチーフを配している
